Each October, NPTM gives physical therapists a chance to connect with the community and educate the public about the available rehabilitation services. Physical therapy services include evaluation and treatment for various conditions including post-surgical rehabilitation, back pain, neurological rehabilitation, arthritis and joint pain, peripheral neuropathy, and sports injuries.
At St. Vincent Clay Hospital, we have the resources to help patients of all ages with a wide range of rehabilitative needs. These resources include a new 3,000 square-foot facility that offer new equipment, private physical therapy rooms and an area equipped specifically for children.
The Physical Therapy department, located in the lower level of the Medical Office Building, is also celebrating their one-year anniversary in their new location with an open house on Wednesday October 26, 2005.
The open house, which will begin at 4 p.m., will include facility tours, equipment demonstrations, door prizes and refreshments. The first 50 attendees at the open house will each receive as free pedometer. At 6:30 p.m., Janna Kissell, Physical Therapist, will be presenting an educational program on "The Benefits of Physical Therapy on Chronic and Acute Health Problems." Seating for the educational program is limited and reservations are suggested.
Please RSVP by calling the Physical Therapy department at 442-2635.
