Over the river and through the woods,

To the Dickison house we go.

A shiny front door

A bright wooden floor

Are all just ready to show!

The home of Terri and Dean Dickison in the Terri Lynn subdivision is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. This 7,600- plus-square-foot home built by TeDerrian Co. last year, is a dream come true for the couple.

The multilevel house is decorated from head to toe. Upon entering the house, the first thing you see is the 12-foot Christmas tree done in golds and whites that matches perfectly with the color scheme in this open living room. The 20-foot ceilings with a wooden insert enhance the woodwork found throughout this house.

The kitchen and formal dining room are open off of this room. The kitchen features a full size freezer and refrigerator. The builder's hand built all of the cabinetry in the kitchen. The tops are light and glass. The green wooden encasement over the gas range match nicely with the rich colored wallpaper. The area around the kitchen table is encircled with pebbles the couple inlayed to mark out the area. The same colors are carried over into the dining area. A large table for 10 is perfect for the Dickison's large extended families. The wooden shelves around the top of the room have reminders that Christmas is on the way.

The master suite is off of this large entry room as well. Upon entering the room, one is sure to notice the inlayed stained glass panel that was purchased from an artist in Brown County. The stunning white bedroom features a mini- bar, workout area, private deck and many pictures of the couple's children. The bathroom is open to this room. A very large whirlpool tub, glass shower and stunning sink can all be found in the room as well. The laundry room opens to the bath. Inside this room are a washer and dryer, sewing area, ironing board, and many places for shoes and clothes.

Down either of the two-carpeted staircases is the lower level designed to fulfill the dreams of any child, young or old. Another kitchen with full amenities, pantry and bar are found on this level. Pictures with flashing lights set the mood for fun. A pool table sits in the middle of this area. Denzil Omer "Salty" Seamon pictures and family Christmas decorations are through this area. A large patio is found out the glass doors in the back of the room. A grill, keg, and sink provide a wonderful area for entertain. There are plans to add a pool here when the weather warms up.

Right off of the kitchen is the home theatre. Three

levels of comfy leather chairs and a full movie screen are in this old, opera style room. Warm rich colors make this a comfy retreat for all.

The couple's children each have space of their own on this level. A common bath area for Taylor and Cole are a perfect solution for these two kids, a common sink area with a private stall for each is found in this room. Taylor's reflects her love of bold colors and Cole's has beautiful blue tones which both match the common area.

Down the hall is Cole's room. A sports theme, including a basketball court provides many hours of delight for this child. A glass door opens to a deck with a view of the woods.

Taylor's room is an 11-year-old girl's dream. A ceiling fan of neon lights shines from above. The purple and pink walls are a great accent to the cheerleader border. A Christmas tree with Taylor's favorite bright colors is setting in the corner.

Evan, 16, has a green technology-inspired room. He has a bath off his room as well as a deck. High tech clocks, TVs and fun gadgets are throughout this room.

One of Terri's favorite features of this master home is the music that can be heard throughout the house as well as outside. Sunday, visitors will hear Christmas songs as they wind up the covered entry surrounded by snowmen.
