The huge 14-foot Christmas tree inside the Clay County Courthouse is dressed up for the holiday season, but wouldn't be complete without the "little visitor."
Wearing jeans and a ball cap while hiding her face in a Christmas package, the nameless little girl doll has been a part of the courthouse decorations since Bob Carter brought her in three years ago for the display.
"We get lots of comments about her," Assistant Custodian Debbie Mustard said Wednesday afternoon.
Mustard and Custodial Supervisor Wayne Knox spend hours each holiday season decorating the courthouse. The public can view the display during regular business hours
