Time to get flu shots

"Influenza season is here, and it is time to get immunized," said St. Vincent Clay Hospital spokesperson Andrea Baysinger.

The hospital and Wabash Valley Home Care will offer flu and pneumonia vaccine innoculations to all residents of Clay County on:

-Friday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Clay City Medical Clinic, 106 W. 7th St., Clay City

-Monday, Dec. 12, 8-9:30 a.m. at Meridian Towers

-Monday, Dec. 12, 9:30-11 a.m., Jackson Gardens

-Monday, Dec. 12, 11 a.m. -12:30 p.m., at Brazil Senior Center

-Monday, Dec. 12, 1:30- 3 p.m., Cooper Towers

-Monday, Dec. 12, 4-8 p.m., Medical Office Building, St. Vincent Clay Hospital

Those who have Medicare must have their Medicare Card available on the date of service for billing purposes.

Medicare Part B will be billed for this service.

The cost for the flu vaccine will be $20 and the pneumonia vaccine will be $35 for those without Medicare Part B.
