-A report from Police Chief Mark Loudermilk
Loudermilk thanked the officers in his department who volunteered with the Shop with a Cop program.
He said the department raised more money in 2005 than in any previous drive, and he was able to use leftover donations to purchase winter coats for several needy children.
Loudermilk also reported that the department received a $2,000 grant it will use for radios for two new department vehicles and camera equipment.
