Teachers' Insurance Plan

Teachers pay 10 percent of the monthly premiums for a single plan and 40 percent of the family plan. If in network, teachers pay no deductibles or co-pays for medical services provided.

Monthly Single Plan Premium: $489.97

Monthly Family Plan Premium: $1,327.92

Others' Insurance Plan

Administrators, non-teaching staff members and bus drivers now pay 16.5 percent of a monthly premium for a single plan. The cost to participate in the family plans is slightly lower for the group of administrators and non-teaching staff members than bus drivers, but the average is 52.7 percent. These individuals do pay deductibles and co-pays for medical services.
