The February agenda of the Clay Community School Board of Trustees, is a small one, but packed with discussions and presentations that could prove very interesting to the public. The board is scheduled to meet Thursday in the Media Center at North Clay Middle School.
The public will hear discussion concerning the following agenda items:
- Presentation of annual Business Office report
- Presentation about how tax amnesty dollars affect education
- Approval of long-term facilities planning committee structure, procedures, goals and outcome
- Explanation of Early Bird classes and discussion of the weighted grade phase-out
School board members Steven Grigsby, Jim Guy, Dottie King, Terry Barr, Len Fischer, Ted Jackson and Joe Thomas are scheduled to attend the meeting immediately following an executive session at 7:30 p.m.
The Distance Learning Equipment will once again be used to provide the public with greater access to the school board meeting. Those in the southern part of the county interested in viewing this meeting can do so at the Clay City Jr./Sr. High School Auditeria.
