The first shipment is in. Carolyn Robison, Karen Fellers and Sherri Stewart sort and stack Girl Scout Cookies Tuesday at the Brazil National Guard Armory.

Around 300 Clay County Girl Scouts in 20 troops placed orders for 1,745 cases of cookies, according to Stewart.

Thin Mints was the number one cookie ordered from Girl Scouts in Clay County with 415 cases. Next was Peanut Butter Sandwiches with 301 cases ordered, Peanut Butter Patties (271 cases), Caramel deLites (262 cases), Lemon Pastry Cremes (143 cases), Shortbread (140 cases), Thanks-A-Lot cookies (123 cases) and Reduced Fat Cartwheels (90 cases).

Orders can still be placed until March 15 by calling Chrisy Maccarone at 835-2126 or by calling the Girl Scout Council at 1800-232-0104. Girl Scouts will be selling cookies Saturday and Sunday at the Brazil Wal-Mart and Clay City IGA.
