An estimated 900 gallons of liquid nitrogen fertilizer spilled from a truck in an accident on C.R. 1200 N., one-half mile west of Kennedy's Crossing (see yellow circle). A hazardous materials team was dispatched to the scene. The driver, whose name was not released by deadline, was transported to St. Vincent Clay Hospital for numerous cuts and abrasions received by breaking glass. However, he was alert and able to walk to the ambulance, according to emergency radio communications.
