People go through their lives dreaming of what their wedding will be like. Most of the time, money is the only thing standing in the way of making their wedding a dream come true.

Owners of "I Do" Rentals, Rita Dierdorff and Melissa Dorsett, strive to make beautiful weddings on a tight budget.

"Our purpose in starting the business was trying to take the high cost out of weddings," said Dierdorff.

The business, which opened August 2005, rents numerous items that are used as decoration in a ceremony or reception at a price lower than the purchase price.

The list of items available for rent include complete tuxedos, topiaries, candle holders, bird cages, tablecloths, tents, arches, candelabras, columns, backdrops, coffee urns, chocolate fountains and greenery. The owners are working on getting a variety of flower girl dresses available for rent.

The owners also sell items ranging from personalized ring bearer pillows and flower girl baskets to champagne glasses and rose petals.

Hours of operation for the business are Monday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Other times are available by appointment only.

"I Do" Rentals is located at 9474 N. Crawford St., Knightsville. Contact the business at 443-6140 or idorentals@peoplepc.com.
