Times employee $100 richer

Friday, June 2, 2006

Karen Barnhart, circulation clerk at The Brazil Times listens to HI-99 each day waiting for Frank Rush and his crew to check in on her and see if she is listening. All of her patience paid off Wednesday afternoon, literally, in the form of a one hundred dollar bill tucked inside a small cedar chest.

When asked what she planned to do with the money, she stated that her anniversary was approaching and she might get her husband a gift or go out to eat with the money.

HI-99's crew had showed up to the Times office once before to check on Barnhart, but she just happened to be out of town for the week.
