Lisa Ratcliff has resigned as executive director of the Clay County Community Corrections program, according to County Prosecutor Lee Reberger.
Reberger, who also serves as chairman of the county's community corrections board, said the circumstances of Ratcliff's departure were amicable.
"It was simply that she decided to resign as executive director," he said. "People change jobs all the time."
Reberger said the community corrections department is in the process of expanding its programs, but did not link Ratcliff's departure to the upcoming changes within the department.
"The board is re-evaluating job descriptions and the direction the organization is going to take into the future," Reberger said.
