The Brazil Concert Band, under the direction of Matthew S. Huber, will present "Marching Up Broadway" Sunday, July 30, at 8 p.m.

In case of rain, the concert will be held in the Forest Park Pavilion.

Broadway tunes will include "Cabaret", "Hey, Look Me Over" and "Consider Yourself".

The overtures from "Phantom of the Opera" with its haunting "Music of the Night" and "Guys and Dolls" with "Luck Be A Lady Tonight" are scheduled.

John Philip Sousa's "The Black Horse Troop" and "The Dauntless Battalion" are on deck.

Additional marches are "The Blue Flame" by Smith, "March of the Steelmen" by Belsterling and Fred Jewell's "The Checkered Flag".

Also, Karl King's delightful two-step, "The Walking Frog" will leave one and all riveted.

The trumpet section is highlighted in "Trumpets of Splendor" by Cacavas and the clarinets show off in "Clarinets Allegro" by Cofield.

The Jackson Township Community Band will entertain at the Farmersburg Old Settlers Saturday Aug. 5, at 4 p.m. and at the Indiana State Fair Aug. 10, at 6:30 p.m.
