The 'little historic church of Carbon' will open to the public between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Funds generated from the event will be used to keep the facility open.At 8 a.m., "History of the Little Church" will be presented in the church sanctuary.
A $2 biscuit and sausage gravy breakfast will be served in the church annex with lunch beginning at 11 a.m. Adults can choose between a barbecue, chicken or ham salad sandwich to have with chips, brownie and drink for $4, while a child's meal of a hot-dog, chips brownie and drink will cost $2. Ice cream cones will be $1.
At 1 p.m., musical entertainment will be provided by Jon Hook's Band with square and line dancing starting at 2 p.m.
Museum tours will be available 3-4 p.m. Euel Nevages and balloons will be at the church throughout the evening.
