INDIANAPOLIS -- Musician Henry Lee Summer, 55, formerly of Brazil, was preliminarily charged with driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of a traffic accident and resisting arrest around 6:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Marion County Sheriff's Department and reported today on IndyStar.com, a Web site published by The Indianapolis Star.
The newspaper reports he was booked under his given name, Henry Lee Swartz, and he was released on his own recognizance.
The paper said he drove "through Country Woods Estates, bouncing off cars, trucks and at least one mobile home" before being stopped by residents and held until authorities arrived.
He then resisted officers and was subdued with a Taser stun gun according to the report.
