The 4th Annual Popcorn Festival of Clay County is this weekend, and will be highlighted by two performances of the Custer's Flying K9's, a professional disc dog show.

Pro Handlers, Tracy and Adrian Custer, have been performing for years throughout the Midwest with their six big-air dogs who wow audiences and defy the laws of gravity.

One of the dogs that will be performing is Six, a 4-year-old border collie that was rescued from the Clay County Humane Society by the Custers.

Six and his handler, Adrian Custer, won the 2004 Ohio State Toss n Fetch competition, qualified for and participated in the 2005 United States Disc Dog Nationals (USDDN) National Semifinals, placing 22nd.

Six is labeled as a jack of all trades, excelling in mini-distance, freestyle and extreme distance. Six has remarkable speed and performs unbelievable gravity-defying flips.

The Custer's Flying K9s will perform Saturday, Sept. 30, at approximately 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. during the Popcorn Festival at Forest Park in Brazil.
