Covered Bridge Country Chorus (CBCC) of Harmony, Inc., the all women's a cappella barbershop singing group based in Greencastle, will present its annual dinner and show, Harmony Hop, on Saturday, Sept. 30, at Tzouanakis Intermediate School located at 500 Linwood Drive, Greencastle. Harmony Hop promises to entertain with songs sung by CBCC, the 1999 Harmony, Inc. Queens quartet, Change of Heart, and the South Putnam Show Choir, Wings.
The first half of the show will showcase classic hits from the 50s including "At the Hop," "Unforgettable," "That'll Be The Day," and a "Rock 'N Roll Medley".
The second half of the show will feature the Harmony, Inc. Queens quartet, Change of Heart, and the contest package from CBCC. CBCC scored high enough at the Area 4 Convention and Contest to sing this November at The Harmony Inc. 2006 International Convention and Contest in Jacksonville, Fla.
Harmony Hop will include dinner at 6:30 p.m. with the show beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 3-10, and free for children under age 3.
