Thursday, October 26, 2006

Van Buren Elementary 4th-grader Taylor Moore -- who loves the theatre, likes to sing and play with her dog, Lucy -- will be performing with her minature Schnauzer in the production of "Frankenstein" at Rose Hulman Institute on Oct 27 - 28 and Nov. 3 - 4.

Taylor has appeared in the local stage production of "12 Dancing Princesses" and a Terre Haute production of "How to eat like a child." She also enjoys playing soccer, volleyball, basketball and student council.

Performing in community theatre since 5-years old, Taylor was contacted by Sherry Wright of the Terre Haute Community Theatre to audition for a part in the Rose Hulman College Drama Club production.

Tickets for the production at Hatfield Hall on the campus of Rose Hulman Institute are $10. The play begins at 8 p.m.

Taylor's parents are Steve and Amy Moore of Carbon; grandparents Betty and the late William Moore and Brenda and Bruce Rogers, all of Brazil; great-grandma Pauline Minnick and special great-great-aunt Lee Koup both of Brazil.
