Jan Etta Diane Paullus, 59, Brazil, died at 7:10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at her home surrounded by her family.

Born Nov. 11, 1947, in Clay County, she was the daughter of William Gale and Norma Jones Atkinson.

She attended Annunciation Catholic School and was a graduate of Brazil High School.

On June 2, 1967, she married Peter Michael Paullus. She was a loving wife and mother.

She attended Annunciation Catholic Church and was past president of Eagles 274 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her father William Atkinson; stepfather Clarence Morlan; grandmother Helen Williams and uncles Neal Jones and J. Don Jones.

She is survived by her mother Norma Morlan; husband Pete Paullus; son Christopher Douglas Paullus and wife Lori; daughter Vanessa Paullus; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, sister Tyra Handlin, Fontanet, and nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Annunciation Catholic Church in Brazil with Father Dominic Chukwudi officiating. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Moore Funeral Home.

A Rosary service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
