William J. "Bill" Frost, 102, Brazil, died Aug. 11, 2007, at 10:38 p.m. at Holly Hills Healthcare Faciliity.
Born Oct. 6, 1904, in Harmony, he was the son of Mander Frost and Minnie Lawson Frost.
He graduated in 1923 from Van Buren High School. He also graduated from Brown Business College.
He was a member of the Forest Ave. Methodist Church; Brazil Masonic Lodge No. 264 and the Scottish Rite Valley of Terre Haute.
He was married to Helen Bradley Frost in February 1938. She preceded him in death on Oct. 17, 1989.
Bill was a grocer for more than 35 years, operating the Frost Grocery on South Chicago Ave., Brazil.
Survivors include niece Virginia Williams Ell, Granger, Ind.; and nephew Dr. Ray Mienheartt, and several great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Frost, sisters Lela Williams and Virgie Mienheartt and brother H.L. Frost.
As he had requested, there will be no visitation or services.
Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, Terre Haute.
French Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the charity of their choice.
