Carolyn Faye Keyt, 65, Indianapolis, formerly of Brazil, died at 9:08 a.m. Friday, Aug. 24, 2007, at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.

Born March 10, 1942, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Donald and Blanche Stewart Thompson.

Following graduation from Van Buren High School, she attended nursing school at Ivy Tech and pursued a career as a nurse until her retirement. She worked as a nurse at Clay County Hospital for 20 years and another 10 years at the State Farm facility.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Thompson.

She is survived by three sons, Timothy Don Keyt, Brazil, Anthony Charles Keyt, Bloomington, and Russell Lee Keyt and wife Mona, Brazil; and one daughter, Christina M. Keyt, Indianapolis. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Jessica, J.D., Bill, Brandi, Baylee, and Dawn Keyt; three great grandchildren, Madison Foster, Jordan Keyt and Camron Keyt and sister-in-law Mary Ellen Thompson of Brazil.

Visitation will be 10 a.m- noon Wednesday, Aug. 29, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be noon Wednesday. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
