Mazo Schroer Rollings, 96, Mooresville, died at 10:05 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, 2007, in the Meadow Lakes Nursing Home, Mooresville.
Born July 2, 1911, in Clay County, she was the daughter of August and Mary Albright Schroer.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Poland Zion Church and the Women's Guild.
She was preceded in death by husband Everett Rollings, her parents, four brothers, three sisters and one half-sister.
Survivors include son Melvin Rollings and wife Susan, Brazil; three daughters Fanchon Whittington, Mooresville, Roberta Maurer and husband Wendell, Broomfield, Colo., and Emily Hinton and husband Wayne, Plainfield; nine grandchildren, Kenny Whittington and wife Becky, Mooresville, Gary Whittington, Indianapolis, Randy Whittington and wife Nan, Cloverdale, Darla Whittington, Mooresville, Steven Whittington, Avon, Terry Maurer and wife Rachel, Parker, Colo., Cheryl Falconburg and husband Mickey, West Minster, Colo., Chad Rollings, Henderson, Ky. , and Jared Rollings, Henderson, Ky.; six great-grandchildren, Tranetta and Tom Whittington, Steve and Daniel Inlow, Cloverdale, and Alyse Rollings, Henderson, Ky., and Mikinzie O'Neal, Mooresville; several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, in the Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1721 E. National Ave., Brazil. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007, at the funeral home.
