John Edward Johnson, 71, Bridgeton, died Aug. 24, 2007, in Jeffersonville.

He was the son of August and Bessie (Sanders) Johnson.

He married Linda Staples Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, daughter Regina Martin and husband Peter; son Randy Johnson and wife Donna; four step-sons and one step-daughter.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home, Rosedale. Burial will be at Clear Run Cemetery, Bridgeton.

Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday (today) at Cottrell-Gooch Funeral Home.
