Today

10 a.m. - The Caregiver support group meeting in Brazil will take place at St. Vincent Clay Hospital, 1214 E. National Ave., in the medical office building, lower level Community Room. The meeting was moved due to the Fourth of July holiday. To receive additional information about the group, call Jennifer Kaelber at 446-2636.

7 a.m.-11 a.m. - Cunot Community Center will have breakfast. Lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Take out available.

8 a.m.-1 p.m. - Clay County Senior Center will have cards and pool. Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

9 a.m.-1 p.m. - Adult Basic Education, GED preparation and beginning and refresher courses in reading, writing and math at the LEAAP Center, 501 E. Jackson St., Brazil. Call 812-446-2536 for more information.

Noon - Brazil Rotary Club meets at the Coffee Cup, U.S. 40 west side of town.

1 p.m. - Clay County Senior Center will have bingo at the center.

1-4 p.m. - Clay County Genealogical Library in Center Point, located west of Riddell National Bank, will be open. Special hours can be arranged.

3 to 5 p.m. - Staunton Community Food Pantry is open at the Staunton United Methodist Church in the church basement. Any family in the Staunton area is welcome and should enter through the basement door in the back of the church.

3-5 p.m. - Church of the Living Christ Food Pantry open. Call (765) 301-0686 for an appointment.

4-7 p.m. - Adult Basic Education, GED preparation and beginning and refresher courses in reading, writing and math at the LEAAP Center, 501 E. Jackson St., Brazil. Call 812-446-2536 for more information.

7:30 p.m. - Cunot Community Center will have AA and AL-ANON meetings. These are separate meetings, in different rooms.

8 p.m. - Alcoholics Anonymous and Al Anon meeting at Cooper Towers Activity Room, 120 W. Jackson St. Call Don B., 448-2431, or Dennis L., 446-6051.

Thursday

8 a.m.-1 p.m. - Clay County Senior Center will have cards and pool. Lunch at 11:30 a.m.

8:30 a.m. - TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) will meet in the YMCA Community room. Weigh-in will be followed by a meeting to provide education, ideas, contests and encouragement for members.

1 p.m. - Board of Public Works and Safety will meet in Council Chambers at City Hall.

1 p.m. - Health and Medical ESF No. 8, the Emergency Response Preparedness Planning group members will meet at the Clay County Justice Center.

9 a.m.-noon - Adult Basic Education, GED preparation and beginning and refresher courses in reading, writing and math the Community Building in Central West Village, Brazil. Call 812-446-2536 for more information.
