The Northview boys' tennis team picked up a home victory against visiting Linton on Wednesday night.
The Knights didn't lose a single game in the match while posting a 5-0 victory against the Miners.
In singles play, Austin Akers scored a victory at No. 1 singles by defeating George Fritch in a 6-0, 6-2 decision. Brock Lawson had similar success against Seth Herndon at No. 2 with a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Clint Reynolds wrapped up the singles sweep with a 7-5, 6-3 victory at No. 3.
In doubles action, the No. 1 combination of Ryne Barr and Matt Nodley had the most dominant effort with a straight set win in which they didn't lose a single point.
Adam Clark and Caleb Mershon wrapped up the sweep with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) victory over the team of Kyle Cooper and Merrick McBride at No. 2 doubles.
The junior varsity also had equal success as Trent Sims won 8-2 and Carson Kleiber scored a victory by an identical 8-2 decision.
Next up for the Knights is a Tuesday trip to Greencastle to face the Tiger Cubs.
