TERRE HAUTE -- Northview improved to 8-4 with a golf victory at Hulman Links on Tuesday night.
Mary Beth Tribble recorded a 43 for the Knights to lead the team which edged out the host Patriots by four strokes, 216-220.
Mandy Thomlinson added a 57 along with Olivia Oehler and Sunny Shaw capped the team scoring with a 59 for the Knights.
Northview travels to Edgewood this evening for a match at 4:30 p.m.

Clay City Volleyball
LINTON -- Even in defeat the Clay City Eels have proved that they won't go down without a fight.
In Tuesday's road trip to Linton, the Eels trailed two games to one and then fell behind 14-1 in the deciding game. Clay City then proceeded to make a rally that got them within a whisker of a victory before falling 25-19 to end the match.
Clay City would eventually fall 22-25, 25-15, 24-26, 19-25 to drop to 4-2 overall.
"We played a lot better and were mentally better," assessed Clay City coach Trisha Hall. "We just let (Linton) get ahead of us due to our own mistakes. (Linton) is a good team, but we fought back."
Angie Camp led the Eels with 11 kills and Britney Glass added eight kills and 11 blocks in the match. Emily Reed added 18 digs and Hanna Moore added in two aces, three kills, five assists and 11 digs in a great overall match. Megan Vansickle came through with three kills, four blocks and five digs and Kelly McCullough contributed six kills, 17 assists, five blocks and four digs in the match for another outstanding effort.
The Eels will travel to Owen Valley this evening for a 6 p.m. matchup with the Patriots.
