Willeta Jean Goffman, 83, Terre Haute, formerly of Clay County, died at 3:05 p.m., Aug. 29, 2007, at Meadows Manor East Convalescent Center, Terre Haute.

Born March 16, 1924, in Clay County, she was the daughter of Harlen Raymond Roeschlein and Harriett Ann Deakins Roeschlein.

She married Robert Kenneth Gossman. He died in 1984.

She was a retired beautician.

Survivors include son Robert Michael Gossman and wife Nancy, Evansville; daughter Mary Ann Mankin, Terre Haute; two sisters, Hannah Kay Lautenschlager, Avon, and Kiva Hoffman, Michigan; three grandchildren, Lee Mankin and wife Lynn, Todd Mankin and Holly Gossman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters Mary Jane Bonar and Alice Navel.

Services will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home, 2425, Wabash Ave., Terre Haute, with Rev. Rebecca Zelensky officiating. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Friday (today) at Callahan-DeBaun Funeral Home.
