Wilma R. Sands, 92, Indianapolis, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007.
She was a comptroller for P.R. Mallory for 34 years, retiring in 1979 and was a member of the Indianapolis Business and Professional Women's Association, the White Cross Guild and Pink Ladies of Methodist Hospital, Chi Sigma Phi Sorority, and was a founding member of the Heron-Morton Place Association, where she owned and restored several houses.
She operated the lemonade stand at the Talbot Street Art Fair for 25 years.
Her hobbies included genealogy, quilting, and raising African violets.
Survivors include nieces and nephews Mary Ellen Brown, Becky Newell, Steve Brown, John Sands, Joyce Thomason, Judy Wagner, Jeff Sands and Jana Greene.
Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, at Crown Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Greene at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007.
Memorial gifts are asked to be given to the donor's favorite charity.
