Because of ongoing building issues, the Brazil Public Library will set up shop outside at the front entrance of the library as part of "Library on the Lawn."
The library staff will move carts of books out onto the concrete area just outside the front entrance.
Materials will be limited to books, magazines and books on tape or CD.
The event will be available beginning Sept. 5 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. It will not be available on rainy days.
Special requests of books should be directed to 448-1981 and the staff will attempt to accommodate the need of the reader.
No DVD's will be available for check out during the event and no public access to computers will be available.
Those residents who live outside of Brazil city or township that have a library card that expired anytime in 2007 will be given a time extension through May 2008.
All non-area residents need to claim the extension before Dec. 31, 2007.
For more information, call 448-1981.
