The Brazil Times has gone through several changes in the past few months.
And a recent change grabbed several readers' attention.
The Times underwent a cosmetic change on its website, much to the liking of several readers.
One reader from Orlando, Fla., recently wrote, "We here in Orlando, Florida, are glad to see The Brazil Times online. It's especially nice to see 'Harmony Happenings.'"
Another reader liked the change in the website, saying, "Much improved. Good job!"
In addition, several readers recently responded to a poll The Times added to the website.
The Times asked readers if they were looking forward to three days off with Labor Day Weekend coming up.
Of the 52 voters that responded, 14 (27 percent)?said they couldn't wait while 18 (35 percent) said that it would be nice.
In addition, four readers (8 percent)?said they were "sort of" looking forward to the three-day weekend while 12 (23 percent) said they really were not. Four other readers added they were not looking forward to the weekend at all.
The Times also added an "On The Street" feature to the website. This week's question was "What are you planning for Labor Day Weekend?"?Times' staffers will jet around the county looking for responders and those who are registered users of the website may leave comments regarding the "On the Street" question.
The website is for you -- the reader. It was constructed with you in mind. We want to make sure you enjoy not only reading the paper when you get it, but if you are online, you will enjoy looking at the website.
Our hope is that the recent changes and additions will give residents of Clay County something to be proud of.
