Maxine (May) Orme, 93, Plainfield, died suddenly in her sleep Sept. 2, 2007.

Born Dec. 21, 1913, in Carbon, she was the daughter of the late Max and Lola (Testy) May.

She retired in 1976 after 30 years with Link-Belt in Indianapolis.

Survivors include niece Judy Hensonb; nephew Doug Henson; great-nieces Rhonda Bishop, Kelli and Shawna Henson and Brenda Miller; and eight great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Othar A. Orme.

She was a member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield.

Visitation is from noon until time of service Saturday.

Burial will be in Calcutta Cemetery, Harmony.
