As part of a city ordinance, Brazil City Planning Administrator Michele Griffin helps city employees clean up a residence in Edgewood Estates Tuesday morning. The city charges residents who are in need of a cleaning $25 per ton of trash removed from a residence. The city then moves the trash to Sycamore Landfill in Pimento, south of Riley. The city, as instructed by the Federal Emergency Management Association, must also charge for hours of equipment use.
