Northview scores back-to-back

The Knights won matches at No. 1 and No. 2 singles as Ryne Barr won 6-2, 6-4 and Adam Clark was a 6-0, 6-3 winner at No. 2.

Though Clint Reynolds lost a three-game match at No. 3 singles, but Northview got a victory from Brock Lawson and Matt Nodley at No. 1 doubles and Caleb Mershon and Carson Kleiber were a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 2 doubles.

Northview scored another conference tennis win on Tuesday night by defeating visiting Sullivan 4-1.

The Knights moved their lineup around effectively as Adam Clark moved up to No. 1 singles to win a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Rob Kennedy and Austin Akers, the usual No. 1 singles player, joined Ryne Barr at No. 1 doubles for a win. The duo defeated Matt Sheffler and Tyan Arnett without losing a game, 6-0, 6-0.

At No. 2 doubles, Matt Nodley and Clint Reynolds won a 6-0, 6-0 match to Danny Lighthizer and Mike Pirtle.

The Knights will host Terre Haute North tonight at 5 p.m.
