Kyle Alan Bitzegaio, 26, Terre Haute, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at his residence.
Born in Bloomington, Ind., on "Race Day," May 24, 1981, he was the son of John and Bev Bitzegaio.
He was a 1999 graduate of Northview High School. He attended Herron School of Art and Indiana State University. He was employed by Jadcore, Inc., and was attending Ivy Tech Community College.
Kyle was born with an artist's spirit and was infinitely creative. He loved art, film, comedy, music, sports and the great outdoors, where he enjoyed hiking, camping and kayaking.
He was full of fun and was the life of a party, with a smile that would light up the room. Kyle was a deep thinker and a big dreamer. He believed in living life in the moment. His passion for his family, his friends and his beliefs was never in doubt. He will be sadly missed by his family, his many friends, and those whose lives he touched.
He is survived by his parents, John and Bev Bitzegaio; a brother, Ryan and sister-in-law Kristen, Muncie; grandmother, Martha Bitzegaio, Terre Haute; and grandmother, Sharon Gross and her family of Missy Nieft and children, Terre Haute; aunts and uncles Beth Bitzegaio and Michael Stickney, Chicago, and Barry and Barb Bitzegaio, New Albany; and cousins, Eric and Anne Bitzegaio, New Albany.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Bitzegaio and Robert and Virginia Carlson.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Callahan and Hughes Funeral Home, 605 S. 25th St., Terre Haute.
