Bible in Concert

Friday, October 19, 2007

The Center for Women’s Ministries, Wabash Valley area churches and Clay City Chapter of Youth for Christ are working together to present “Bible in Concert,” at the Clay City Free Methodist Campgrounds behind Miller’s IGA on State Road 59 in Clay City.

The event will take place Oct. 25-27 and doors will open at 6 p.m., with the program starting nightly at 7 p.m.

“Bible in Concert” presents the Word of God musically and visually through drama, soloists, a Wabash Valley choir, choreography, and Power Point presentation.

There is no cost, but a free-will offering will be taken by the Youth for Christ organization to defray the costs of the concert.

The theme for the concert is from Luke 24:32, which states, “Didn’t our hearts burn?” and it will feature the story of Creation, the Fall of Man, Abraham and Isaac, Peter, Paul and Silas, David, the birth of Jesus, Crucifying Christ, and the Resurrection.

For more information, call the Clay County for Women’s Ministries at 812-939-1317.
