TERRE HAUTE -- Wabash Valley Community Foundation, in conjunction with Larrson Woodyard and Henson LLP, has scheduled a seminar that will focus on new audit risk assessment standards.
The event will take place Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at the Girl Scout Service Center in Terre Haute.
Members of the Board of Directors, Audit or Finance Committee members, Executive Directors, CEOs, Finance and Accounting Personnel of businesses, government agencies, and not-for-profit organizations that undergo independent audits or plan to be audited should plan to attend the seminar.
James Schaefer, a professor of accounting at the University of Evansville, will present practical suggestions to help prepare for changes in the way CPAs must conduct financial statement audits for fiscal years that began on or after Dec. 15, 2006.
