Joanna Faye Jackson Minor, 76, Center Point, passed away at 2:21 p.m., Friday, Oct, 26, 2007, at Terre Haute Union Hospital.
She was born Sept. 9, 1931, in Clay County, to Clarence and Martha Jewel Modesitt Jackson.
Joanna was a member of the Cory Zion Church and the Center Point/Bowling Green Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband, E. James Minor, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter, Alisha Lynne Brough, a brother, Clarence Dale Jackson and a sister in infancy.
Survivors include a son, Tony Minor and wife Joy, Clay City, a daughter Lynne Brough and husband Fred, Clay City, five grandchildren, Jesse Minor, Clay City, Jim Head and wife Janice, Brazil, Andy Head, Illinois, Mandy Gilbert and husband Andy, Lewis, and Roy Brough, Clay City; step-grandchildren, Chad Brough and wife Shannon, Monee, Ill., Gary Brough and wife Christine, Brownsburg, and Daniel Brough and wife Marla, Terre Haute; great-grandchildren, Chaela and Malerie Minor, Clay City, Ryan Ashlee, Rylie and Owen Head, Brazil, Kaitlynne, Maddeline, Ilizabeth and Abbygayle Gilbert, Lewis; step-great-grandchildren, Taylor and Hunter Brough, Monee, Ill., Garrison and Avalyn Brough, Brownsburg, and Dustin, Jacob and Bradan Brough, Terre haute; a sister, Esther Reagin, Cory; brothers, Wayne Jackson and wife Patty, Cory, Bill Jackson and wife Mary, Kettering, Ohio, and Ernest Jackson and wife Marsha, Terre Haute, and several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at the funeral home.
