She was born May 6, 1948, in Clay County, the daughter of William James McIndoo and Isla Croy McIndoo. She graduated from Brazil High School, Class of 1966.
As a young girl, Geri worked as a candy striper at the Clay County Hospital and later at Eldon Pharmacy, Seelyville. On May 26, 1973, she married Larry Witty, he survives.
She last worked at Sony-DADC, Terre Haute, retiring in 2003 following her first diagnosis with cancer.
She enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, decorating and most of all, being with family.
Geri leaves behind her husband Larry, son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Autumn Witty, Terre Haute, and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m., at French Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Alstott officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
