They were united in Bowling Green by Pastor Ralph Mohler. They moved to Brazil in 1958, and have resided at 519 N. Harrison St., for 43 years.
Mr. Skelton is retired from Cook Lumber as a Timber Cutter, and is known for trimming trees locally with his family.
Mrs. Skelton, the former Helen C. Moore, of Fairbanks, is retired after 22 1/2 years as a Nurses Aide from the Clay County Health Center.
They are the parents of five children: James M and Sheila Skelton; Randy Skelton; Donald and Rhonda Skelton; Judy and Bryant White; and Susan and Marty Clodfelter.
They have twenty grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and two on the way.
A pitch-in dinner is being planned for Jim and Helen on Nov. 4, 2007 from 1-4 p.m. at the Community Missionary Church fellowship hall, 21 W. Pinckley St., Brazil.
It is requested that gifts be omitted. All friends and family are invited to attend.
