Lena Gerber Biggerstaff, 85, formerly of Clay County, passed on Oct. 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. eastern time, at Carrington Place Convalescent Center to be with the Lord.
She was born on Oct. 26, 1922, at Croy's Creek, Clay County, Ind., to David and Maggie Gerber.
She was preceded by her Husband Raleigh E. Biggerstaff, brothers, Roy, Ray and George Gerber, plus Irene Buck, a sister of Brazil, and sister Almedia Williams, Bloomington.
She left three children, Danny and Janet Biggerstaff, Bradenton Fla., Janet Mae and Philip Whysong, St.Petersburg, Fla., and Jimmy and Judith Biggerstaff, St. Petersburg Fla. She had 11 grandkids, 15 great-grandkids and three great-great-grandkids, three sisters Paulin Johnson, Brazil, Eva Mae Beddling, Greenwood, Ind., and Betty Green, Branson Miss.
Her farewell services will be Monday, Nov. 5, 2007, at 11 a.m., at Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home, 3180 30th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, Fla., 33713, with burial services to follow at Royal Palm Cemetary. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
