A former Brazil man is in jail again on a charge of dealing methamphetamine.
Vigo County Sheriff's Department deputy arrested Michael Burton, 51, Terre Haute, Tuesday on one count of alleged dealing methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school.
Burton was booked into the Vigo County Jail shortly after midnight.
Officials say this is not the first time Burton has been in the Vigo County Jail on drug charges.
Apparently Burton was arrested on a dealing methamphetamine charge in October 2005, but officials were unable to provide further details concerning the outcome of the charge.
Incarcerated on $100,000 cash bond, Burton is scheduled to appear in Vigo County Superior Court Division 6 on Nov. 20.
During a check at the Clay County Justice Center Friday evening, officials confirmed that no records of booking information matching the name of Michael Burton appear in the current computer system at the facility.
