The Christmas in the Park Parade is Friday, Nov. 23, starting at 6:30 p.m., but entries have been slow to come in.
At this point, only about 55 entries have been received, much less than the approximately 80 entries which are typically in the parade.

Those interested must call to confirm their entry since the deadline has passed. All those entering the parade from this point on are added to the end of the parade. Those who decide to enter on the day of the parade must show up by 6 p.m.
The parade starts in front of the Clay County Courthouse on National Avenue and will travel from Alabama Street west to Depot St. Line-up begins at 5 p.m., Vandailia St.
Music from 102.7, WBOW-FM, will accompany the parade and the Lighting of Forest Park will begin at approximately 8:20 p.m.
Events of the 15th annual celebration kick off Sunday, Nov. 18 with the Mr. and Mrs. Snowflake Pageant in the Northview High School Auditorium at 2 p.m.
