Born Jan. 31, 1923, she was the daughter of George Harrison Nussel and Mary Grimes Nussel.
She attended school in Bowling Green, graduating from Fort Wayne North High School.
She worked at Quaker Maid canning factory in Terre Haute for 20 years.
She was a member of the Terre Haute First Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth "Cob" Low and former husband Harvey Francis; step-son Jim Lowe; sister Lucile Rhodes; sister-in-law Hilda Nussel, both of Fort Wayne.
Survivors include Don Francis and wife Kathy, Martinsville, Ind., Ken Francis, Fort Wayne, Janet Schildmeier and husband Dick, Indianapolis, Nancy Sedletzeck, Terre Haute; brother Clarence Nussel, Fort Wayne; brother-in-law Grover Rhodes, Fort Wayne; step-daughters, Avie Lowe, Indianapolis, Mary Ash and husband Dick, Peru, Ind., Pat Roach, Bradenton, Fla., and Gene Lowe and wife Sue, Terre Haute; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday (today) at Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., Terre Haute, with Pastor Emeritas Larry Mathias officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until time of services.
