Cletus Wayne Raab, 68, Carbon, died at 8 a.m., Monday, Nov. 26, 2007, at his residence.

Born Dec. 14, 1938, in Clay County, he was the son of Arvel and Helen Smith Raab.

He managed gas stations and also had worked at Great Dane, Pizza Inn and Pinkerton Services.

He married Hester Phegley on May 4, 1957.

He enjoyed bowling, boating, camping, singing and playing his guitar, building model airplanes and spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Hester on May 14, 2006; one son, Thomas Raab; and brother Harry, Cecil and Luthar Raab.

He is survived by son Mike Raab and wife Tracy, Brazil; one daughter-in-law, Dixie Raab, Brazil; one sister, Marie Johnson, Diamond, Ind.; grandchildren Elizabeth Dickison and husband John, Carbon, Thomas Raab Jr. and wife Mary, Brazil, Penny Nevins and husband Gerold, Wildwood, Fla., Ginny Raab and husband Justin, Brazil, Katie Raab, Brazil, Mike Raab Jr. and wife Deanna, Brazil, and Bobbi Raab, Terre Haute; step-grandchildren, Matt Grove, Sara Raab, and David Grove, all of Brazil; 13 great-grandchildren, and two more expected in thenear future and a large extended family.

Visitation will be noon-2 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at Moore Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with burial to follow at Calcutta Cemetery.
