Ronalyn Susan Hart, 51, Pleasant Hill, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Born Feb. 1, 1956, in Pittsfield, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles Lewis "Bing" and Virginia Ruth Smith Hart.

She was a 1974 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School and received a B.S. degree from SIU-Edwardsville.

She was a Personnel Sergeant in the United States Army, having served in Korea, Alaska, at the Pentagon and retiring after 18 years of service out of the Inspector General's office at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis.

She was a member of the Pleasant Hill American Legion Post 1048. She enjoyed running, traveling and spending time with her family. She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her mother, Virginia R. Hart, Pleasant Hill, Ill.; two daughters, Ronalyn Ruthann (Jordan) West, Brazil, and Sara Susanne McIntire, Ellsworth, A.F.B., Rapid City, S.D.; four grandchildren, Kierston and Jaicey Burdine, Brazil, and Katelyn and Daniel McIntire, Rapid City, S.D.; sister, Gina Root and friend Jim Carpenter, Pleasant Hill, Ill.; five brothers, Kenny Hart and wife Nancy, Pittsfield, Ill., Gary Hart and wife Cathy, Fairhope, Ala., Rod Hart and wife Jeri, Batchtown, Ill., Reginald Hart and wife Tori, Pleasant Hill, Ill., and Rawni Hart and wife Kathy, Charleston A.F.B., S.C.; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bing Hart, sister, Rita A. Hart, and by nephews Bryan Hart.

Services will take place at 11 a.m., Friday, at the Lummis Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill, Ill., with Father Louis Dorn officiating. Burial will full military honors will be in Crescent Heights Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, Ill.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasant Hill American Legion, the American Cancer Society or the charity or organization of the donor's choice.
