STAUNTON FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m., with worship service following at 10:30. Doug Parkey is the minister. Children's Church, Wee Worship and extended nursery are at 10:30 in the Educational Building.
If you need transportation to morning worship service, please phone the church office at 446-3211. The van is wheel chair equipped. Sunday evening service is at 6 p.m. Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer Group meets at 7 p.m.
The Elders will meet at 6 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, followed by the regular meeting of the church board at 7 p.m.
The Christian Fellowship Club will meet for lunch at Pizza Hut at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 12.
The youth Christmas Program will be on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 6 p.m. Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 will begin at 8 p.m.
The next Youth Outing will be on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 2-6 p.m., at the church. There will be fun, games, and devotions, following a movie and practice for the Christmas Program.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to Bill Brown, Betty Ehrlich and Peggy Biddle. Anniversary greetings go to B. J. and Samantha Biddle.
STAUNTON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
Our annual Christmas party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The children will be presenting a program, followed by refreshments and a visit from Santa in the church basement.
Everyone is invited to this evening of worship and fun.
Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. Church service begins at 10:30. David Brown is our Pastor and his wife Elaine brings the Children's Message. Glenna Simons is the pianist.

Because of Christmas activities, the Community Food Pantry will only be open once this month: Wednesday, Dec. 19, from 3-5 p.m.
Anyone in the Staunton area in need of help is welcome.
We truly appreciate the support of many churches, civic organizations, and individuals in helping to make this needed outreach a success.
A container is located in the Staunton Town Office for anyone who would like to contribute non-perishable food items.
Please remember to keep praying for everyone who is battling illness, as well as all the brave men and women of our military and their families.
Also remember in prayer all the folks in nursing homes and hospitals, and those who have lost loved ones.
Go out of your way to be kind to someone, and pray for everyone, especially during this wonderful Christmas season.
