Jack F. Apple, 80, Brazil, died at 6 p.m., Dec. 8, 2007, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
Born June 12, 1927, in Vigo County, he was the son of Fred Apple and Cloe Paulk Apple.
He served in the United States Army during war time. He was retired from GTE as an electrical switchman. He was a member of the IBEW local 725.
He married Princes J. Apple on June 21, 1947. She preceded him in death in 2004.
Survivors include four daughters, Jennifer Reed and husband John, Greenville, Ill., Nancy Lott and husband Rick, Paoli, Barb Siebert and husband Gary, Keyesport, Ill, and Linda Richardson and husband Danny, Smithville, Ga.; and five grandchildren, Jonathan Reed, Melissa Reed, Chrissy Richardson, Erin Siebert Simpson and Jared Siebert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Apple and Cloe Paulk Apple; his wife, Princes J. Apple; and sister Roseann Spaulding.
Services will take place ta 2 p.m., Wednesday, at DeBaun Funeral Home Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is from noon-2 p.m., Wednesday, at DeBaun Funeral Home Springhill Chapel, Terre Haute.
