TERRE HAUTE NORTH -- The Northview Knights suffered a frustrating loss in Terre Haute on Tuesday night, dropping a 55-22 decision to the home standing Patriots.

Terre Haute North pressured the Knights into 25 turnovers and a frigid 17 percent (7-of-42) shooting percentage from the field.

The Patriots built a 19-5 first quarter lead and never looked back in sending the Knights to their fourth loss in five games.

Spring Raines led Northview with 10 points and Chelsey Sampson added a team-high five rebounds, but the Knights were beat more than two-to-one on the boards (49-20).

North placed 10 players in the scoring column and Northview finished out the game with its JV players on the court.

The Knights will travel to Edgewood to play the 6 p.m. opener before the boy's game.

What is the deal with this program this year? It seemed like they were going to be decent, at least. Did everyone not go out for the team or something?

The freshman, JV and varsity teams scored 52 points on Tuesday and Wednesday against North in 80 minutes worth of games. That's not very good.
