Brazil company Hancor recently announced plans to celebrate its 30th anniversary this month with some special events for customers and employees.
On Friday, the plant will conduct an open house for its customers from 1-4 p.m., and on Saturday, it will conduct an open house for employees and families.
Hancor is part of Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc., (ADS), the world's largest producer of high density polyethylene (HDPE) corrugated plastic pipe. ADS has 350 salespeople, 35 regional engineers, 100 customer service representatives and a fleet of more than 600 tractors and 1,000 trailers.
Products are manufactured and shipped from more than 42 domestic and international plants and more than 30 distribution yards.
The Brazil facility began operations in Jaunary 1977 at 2340 E. U.S. 40. ADS acquired Hancor in 2005.
ADS has been instrumental in adding resources, both personnel and equipment investment, to the facility.
