The North Clay boys' seventh- and eighth-grade basketball teams split a pair of match-ups against Sullivan Wednesday night.

The seventh-graders pulled out a 37-23 victory over the Golden Arrows in the early game.

The Knights played it tight early, holding a 20-15 lead at the half, but were able to pull away in the second half, holding Sullivan to only two points in the fourth.

North Clay was led by Phillip Lalen, who finished with 12 points, and Dallas King, Braden Parr and Travis Hakman also had good games as well, pitching in seven, six and six points, respectively.
